ABOUT GOLD VERMEIL
Unlike standard plating, Gold Vermeil requires an exceptionally thick layer of Gold—minimum 10K—over a precious Sterling Silver base. Our Gold Vermeil features an 18K Gold layer over 925 Sterling Silver at a thickness of 2.5 microns, making it five times thicker than regular gold plating.
Over time, Gold Vermeil naturally matures, gently wearing to reveal the silver beneath and giving your mythical creature a soulful, vintage character. Because the base is Sterling Silver, your piece remains a timeless heirloom.

CARING FOR YOUR PIECE
Our Gold Vermeil, Pink and Yellow Gold, Rhodium, and Ruthenium plated pieces require a gentle touch to maintain their finish. We recommend the "Last on, first off" rule: put your pieces on after your beauty routine and take them off before swimming or hopping in the shower. Unlike solid silver, please do not use a polishing cloth or abrasive cleaners, as rubbing can strip the finish.
